Requiem for a Noob

Hello Everyone,

I assume you already guessed it, considering nothing happened around here for quite a while, so yes, it's true:

The Noobz are history for now.

Life caught up with the band, the members found different jobs in different cities, too far apart from each other to maintain being able to meet for rehearsing and songwriting.

The old domain www.thenoobz.de has therefore been abandoned, but I, the page's Ex-Webmaster, didn't want the page to go down with the band. They made way too good music for that, music that still should be shared with the world. So I created the new domain and uploaded the backup of the old page here so that the music of the Noobz may continiue to reach new audiences, even though there won't be any new songs from now on :-(

But thats life, sometimes, after a flight training that shows a person's potential to be a great pilot, it clips his wings before he had a real chance to take off and soar. But still, this time on the training plane was a fantastic adventure that will remain forever in the memories of all band members, me and hopefully all the others who accompanied us during some parts of that journey.

So, this is farewell, friends.
But remember: Should you get bored while surfing the web due to the lack of nice music, just vist this page again, enjoy the unique sound of The Noobz one more time and keep us in good memory!

Cool demo

Hi Fans,

I'd like to thank all demonstrators, listeners and friends again, who have been to Friedrich-Ebert-Platz on Friday. An amazing crowd of (about) 800 people screamed und sang. It was just incredible. And for those who are interested in the case, please visit the following homepage:

WE'RE BACK!

After being unavailable for quite some time (due to an unfortunate combination of Mr. Toe's empty pockets and an unforgiving server provider) our web page is now back online.

Note: The page is in german, so here's a basic guide what to do:
Click on "Abstimmen" (which means "vote" in german), enter your first name, last name and e-mail address (in this order) into the three text fields and click the button. Then, click the link saying "Dortmund" (that's the town the contest will take place) and there you will see us and all the bands we're competing with. Click on the radio button next to our name and then use the button at the bottom of the page. Click OK twice and you're done.

Hi fans, folks, friends and families!

The last one of the new videos is finally complete. It's a medley which features some of the songs we played at the Helfer Herbst festival that haven't already been covered in a separate video. Take some time to watch it, it's 15 minutes long.
There's one minor letdown, though: The video features a lot of stage chit-chat, but doesn't have english subtitles yet. Creating those would take a lot of effort and I currently don't have enough time to take care of it. So, for the moment, just enjoy the music and ignore the rest. ;-)
